Seven-Digit Dialing

Seven Digit Dialing is a feature enhancement to extensions that enables users to designate an area code for their extension. Once the area code has been set, the user may dial numbers within that area code by their last seven digits.

For example, if you set your area code to “555”, you could dial a main local number by dialing “123-4567” and the “555” will be automatically inserted into the call.
